<description>Well, I thought of this post as I suffered through a Blue Man Group concert the other night. The man next to me had bad breath......no, BAAAAAAAAAD breath. It somewhat ruined the experience for me. Aroma is such a critical part of an experience. When house-hunting, I immediately rejected many houses due to intolerable odor.

Hugs,

<description>What a lovely garden you must have! I remember hiking in So. California growing up and seeing the native tobacco plants. Certainly brings back memories! Thanks for the pleasant thoughts!

<description>betty- I also remember that hammock with fondness. Perhaps Spring will inspire another one into my driveway.

You are lucky to have that rose garden and all its other natural smells so close. I'm glad you appreciate it.

It seems lilac has won out for most memorable smell, at least judging from the comments here!

thanks for stopping in.

<description>While reading this I was remembering that hammock you used to have, and thinking what a great pleasure it would be to just relax into the hammock and inhale the aromatherapy of your garden.

One of the things I like best about walking in the rose garden is the many different scents emitting not just from roses, but various pine trees and other plantings unfamiliar to me.

I was lucky to attend college in a city known for its lilacs. I still remember the intoxicating scents pervading the city during the week of my graduation.

And I love that photo of your front yard.

Hugs,
Betty</description>
