I was born that way. My son, who, unlike me, has been raised hearing classical music, has no attraction to it. The first piece of classical music I heard, compliments of my 8th grade music teacher, was the Sorceror's Apprentice. I still remember the thrill. It stirred something inside of me. I have never felt inclined to analyze either the music itself or the reason for being drawn to it. Sometimes I do like a piece of music more upon repetition, but as always, I don't know why, other than that my radio dial has been mysteriously fine-tuned, by some mysterious force, with no help from me.
