Of course tue pretty standard in paranormal romances, but I felt that Valdes does a good job of it. If you like paranormal romanance then you might like this, I don’t know if I’ll bother reading the next novel in the series. Also, her obsession with Travis? Valdes was born in AlbuquerqueNew Mexico. It sounded so interesting, so tempting, and I had high expectations for it. Shane became unbelievably in love with Travis after meeting him for the very first time.

The world-building is actually pretty good, and Valdes’ writing isn’t bad. It was just a bunch of hollow words on a page for me.
