Pacifico Tower- new suites! - Review of Rosarito Beach Hotel, Rosarito, Mexico - TripAdvisor

The new Pacifico Tower is above and beyond what we expected. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated. The view was absolutely incredible and the balcony was extremely spacious. I would compare the room to a vegas hotel room-it was top notch.

We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. This was my second time at this hotel- the first time was several years ago which I stayed at the old hotel garden view, and does not even come close to comparing to this room. We can not wait to come back and stay again, as the room was relaxing and comfortable.

My only complaint was the "fast past" that was given to us, which was an absolute joke. The border indicated that the "fast past" meant nothing and was a fake advertisement the hotel provides to their guests.

Next time we will just not even bother accepting it. Other than that the room was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly to us. We went during the Cotto vs Mayweather fight and they were playing the fight in the bar-free of charge. We were able to get a seat at the bar and watch the fight, We were able to get a seat at the bar and watch the fight, which is exactly a perfect way to start the night off.

Nice, nice nice! The one drawback we had was the heater wouldn't work and they said they sent maintenance but no one ever showed up. We finally changed rooms and they were really nice about it. I love the location here with the pier and the beach plus the proximity to town. You can get some great deals if you watch for promos, and always call the hotel after you get your best online price. They usually beat it.

The hotel is old and shabby, the staff is indifferent to rude and the prices are ridiculous for what you get. We were booked to stay three nights but checked out after the first night of pounding music until 4am from a disco next door, walls so thin you could hear your neighbor walking, beds so uncomfortable it was impossible to stay asleep.

My wife had booked a spa treatment that had already been charged to our room and since the hotel would not refund the cost or the two nights we did not stay! She described her massage as "awful, worst ever" given by someone who clearly had no understanding of massage or what kind of pressure the client wanted. Who ever owns this hotel is either a crook or a jerk or both.

The one great thing is the beach Thank you for posting a review for the Rosarito Beach Hotel. You may be pleased to know that since your June stay, we've installed new mattresses in all of our units in our 2 oceanfront towers. In order to better understand the service and other issues that you experienced during your June stay regarding the staff, pricing, and early checkout, I hope that you can contact me at daniel rosaritobeachhotel.

Regarding the noise that you mention, we can most likely solve this issue immediately once a guest brings it to our front desk's attention, who in turn speak to the people or venue responsible. I spoke with the staff at our Spa when you posted your review.

Our team, which is regarded as one of the best in the area, laments that your wife had that experience. However, if you wish to share any other details, please let me know if possible. I booked a room here for Spring Break and unfortunately, the trip ended up being cancelled. I called about a month before the check-in date to cancel my reservation and I was told that I would be issued a full refund for the money I had already paid They charge a deposit immediately after booking with them.

After cancelling, I was told that it would take a maximum of 10 days before the credit showing up on my statement. After 10 days had passed, the refund had not even been processed. I went ahead and contacted their front desk when someone told me they would look into the issue. A few more days passed by and the issue was still not resolve. I took it upon myself to contact the supervisor at their accounting department who promised to personally take care of the issue.

About 3 weeks, after my request for refund, they still hadn't issued anything. The accounting supervisor never got back to me, so I figured I would take it one step further and contact the General Manager.

The General Manager responded promptly and promised to take care of the issue. However, another week passed by and I still had no money being refunded to me. After waiting for about a month for my refund, I decided that it was time to contact my bank. I ended up filing a claim and passing on the case to my credit card company.

Within 2 days of my claim, my bank had issued a refund. Its been now almost 30 days and the hotel has not issued any credit yet. The manager did not even bother to respond to my email when I told him that I was going to file a claim because I was tired of waiting around for them to give me a refund. Thank you for submitting a review for the Rosarito Beach Hotel.

I'm sorry to hear it took so long for you to receive your refund. Unfortunately, in the past we've had this experience on occasions with certain credit cards and banks when issuing refunds.

The cross-border communication between some of the banks is sometimes very slow. This is why we've recently changed our policy to issuing checks and mailing them out when we know a refund might take longer than 10 days. I hope this experience doesn't stop you from visiting us sometime in the future. The hotel is nice, we stayed at the new tower with a great price, the room had a breathless ocean view They were rude, unfriendly and uninterested on helping us, their clients!!

I asked several times for different things, from the bellboy to a discount card that they promised on their add, and nobody knew anything even where the bellboy was at am!! If you compare their service to other beach resorts of Mexico, they would win worst service of all. The room was large, and had a refrigerator, sink and stovetop. It was a suite, with a separate bedroom. The room was adequate, but not as nice as my last room in the Coronado. The ocean view was blocked by the semi-permanent white tent.

All that being said, it was a great deal for an older person. The deal was to pay the last two digits of your birth year. Flights Holiday Rentals Restaurants Things to do. Profile Sign in. Log in to get trip updates and message other travellers. Pacifico Tower- new suites!
